Return & Exchange Policy

At The Maharashtra Store, we have been committed to delivering quality products to our community since 1967. We ensure quality first in everything we sell. To maintain our high standards of hygiene and product integrity, we operate strictly on an Exchange-Only resolution basis.

Resolution Policy: We accept returns for both defective and non-defective products. However, all approved returns are processed exclusively as Exchanges. We do not issue cash refunds under any circumstances.

1. The 7-Day Exchange Window

Customers may initiate a return for an exchange within 7 days from the date of purchase or delivery. Requests made after this 7-day window will not be accepted.

2. Conditions for a Valid Exchange

To be eligible for an exchange, your item must meet the following criteria:

  • Proof of Purchase: The original billing slip or purchase receipt must be presented.
  • Original Condition: The item must be entirely unused, unwashed, and in the exact same condition that you received it.
  • Packaging: The product must be in its original, undamaged packaging with all tags, accessories, and manuals included.

3. Electronics, Appliances & Warranty Items

We carry a variety of electronics and branded appliances. Please note the following strict conditions regarding these items:

  • Filled Warranty Cards: Once the manufacturer’s Warranty or Guarantee card has been filled out or registered, we cannot accept the item for return or exchange.
  • Manufacturer Defects: If a product is found to be defective after the warranty card is filled, or after the 7-day window, the issue must be resolved directly with the brand's authorized service center as per their warranty policy.

4. Non-Returnable & Non-Exchangeable Items

For reasons of hygiene, safety, and promotional terms, the following items are strictly exempt from being returned or exchanged:

  • Cosmetics & Personal Care
  • Perfumes & Fragrances
  • Seasonal Discounted Items (Any products purchased during a clearance, seasonal sale, or marked as final sale).

5. How to Initiate an Exchange

For In-Store Purchases: Please bring the item in its original condition along with the original billing slip directly to our physical store in Pune within the 7-day window.

For Online/WhatsApp Inquiries: If your purchase was facilitated via our online inquiry system, please contact our support team using the details below. Our team will verify your claim and guide you on how to return the item to our store for an exchange.
